Women’s Specific Touring Board
LEILANI in Hawaiian language means “heavenly flower”. Designed as a women’s specific board the LEILANI has inherited it’s fast lines from the popular Kahuna Comp series of boards. The 11’7” length and 28.75” width make the board more paddle friendly and maneuverable for smaller paddlers. The board has the same aggressive reverse rocker design in the nose as the Kahuna Comp which gives the board superior tracking capabilities in headwind and crosswind situations. While the raised forward deck allows the paddler to load gear on the front of the board and helps keep feet dry while paddling. This board will definitely be a favourite amongst female SUP enthusiasts!

CONSTRUCTION TYPE
All KAHUNA EPIC SERIES models are hand shaped and use an Epoxy Sandwich Vacuum Construction (ESVC). The foam blank is wrapped with 2 full layers of fiberglass cloth on the top & bottom. A 3rd layer is added to the top of the board and is sandwiched with either fiberglass cloth or bamboo veneer.
For overall strength and durability, the standing zone has an additional top layer of fiberglass cloth wrapping over the deck extending to the underside of the board. The board is then vacuum bagged for perfect consistency producing a strong epoxy sandwich.
