After the very positive results we had introducing Ultra Scrim in the top panel last year, we extended it down into the panel below for 2021 as well. Ultra Scrim is about 60% lighter than monofilm so this makes the top of the sail feel dramatically lighter. It also stretches more than monofilm so it gave the 2021 sails an even smoother feeling through gusts and when sailing overpowered. I have always loved the Combat and this is the best edition yet in my opinion!

NEILPRYDE EXCLUSIVE TECHNOLOGY.
POWERFUSE panels in the PRO construction are there to strategically re-distribute the tack and clew loads throughout the sail’s body; improving the sail reflex without deforming the laminates.
POWERFUSE transforms wind energy into power, instead of losing it through material stretch.
It helps profile stability and prevents deformation.

RADIAL HD

NEILPRYDE EXCLUSIVE TECHNOLOGY.
RADIAL HD panels used in our HD construction are there to strategically re-distribute the tack and clew loads throughout the sail’s body; improving the sail reflex without deforming.
RADIAL HD panels are custom stitched per sail size for the HD versions of COMBAT and ATLAS to offer similar characteristics to Powerfuse at a lower price point.
